I RECENTLY jumped at the opportunity to attend The Star’s Newspaper-in-Education (NiE) workshop although it was at the expense of giving up my relaxing Saturday morning.

I had heard so much about the previous NiE workshops and since there was just one last slot available, I grabbed it. Well, I had no regrets. From the moment I stepped into the INTI International College, Penang, the workshop venue, I was energised just seeing the participants, all teachers old and young, raring to go.
