MALAYSIA is an oil and gas-driven economy. Students with an interest in chemical and petroleum engineering can find high paying jobs in the oil and gas industry.

Assoc Prof Dr Noor Yusmiza Yusoff who is the head of the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences at Heriot-Watt University Malaysia says graduates can normally find plant-related jobs at Kerteh, Gebeng, Pasir Gudang, Bintulu, Miri and Labuan.
