Informative session on using newspapers in classrooms

Lets join in: Dass conducting an activity with lecturers from the Johor Matriculation Centre during an NiE workshop earlier this month.

WHEN asked to give a refreshing contextual meaning to the NiE acrostic, these NiE newcomers produced many interesting phrases.

One adventurous, highly participative and competitive group, helmed by the irrepressible Halina Yusof, displayed their explorative skills with their prize-winning entry: “New, innovative, explorations into English”, not realising that indeed they were about to discover that NiE was just that!
