Settling in at Wellesley

WITH two United States (US) Secretary of States – Hillary Clinton and Madeleine Albright – as its alumni, Malaysian student Adelene Lai had little doubt that Wellesley College, Massachusetts was the choice institution for her tertiary studies.

“Almost everyone discouraged me from going there just because it is an all-women’s college, but I believe that it was a very weak argument against the outstanding track record of the college,” said Adelene.
