Housewife splashed with corrosive substance while cooking

It hurts: A houswife's face and neck scalded following an acid attack at her home.

JOHOR BARU: A 46-year-old housewife is horrified to go near mirrors, windows or leave her house after she was splashed with a corrosive substance on her face.

The victim’s sister Faridah Ahmad said her sister was in the midst of cooking rice in the kitchen at her home along Jalan Seroja in Taman Johor Jaya here on Tuesday when she suddenly felt intense burning sensation on her face.
