Apresi kitchen cabinets offer aluminium-based framework and glass-fronted doors

JOHOR BARU: Modern and elegant aluminium-based kitchen cabinets, sash windows, doors, grilles and even fencing have been trending among homeowners here.

Hong Lee Group (M) Sdn Bhd marketing manager Suann Tan (sic) said that many homeowners are opting for aluminium-based kitchen cabinets, as it is free of rust, rot and termites due to the metal’s durability.

“We provide a wide range of Apresi kitchen cabinets, which offer aluminium-based framework and door frames and glass-fronted cabinet doors.

“The trend now is mostly frameless and handle-less cabinets with matte, smooth glass, black, white or natural anodised finishing,” she said.

She added that the aluminium was used to create modern cabinets, as it had strong resistance against corrosion even when exposed to air and water and is fully recyclable and environmental friendly.

She said Apresi cabinets can cost more than RM10,000 depending on the customer’s choice of finishing, colours, and even the number of storage compartments.

Tan also added that aluminium sash windows, grilles, sliding doors and even fencing replicating wooden fencing were also made available for customers.

“The wood-grain coating for the fencing creates a wooden impression, giving it a cosy feel plus customers would not have to worry about it rotting or rusting.

“While aluminium may not be as strong as stainless steel or other materials, the maintenance-free aluminium products could be complemented with other security measures such as CCTVs or multi-point lock window system,” she added.

Tan said that price range for aluminium-based products would depend on the thickness, size and type of glass used (for windows and doors).

“Homeowners these days prefer customised items that could best fit their lifestyle and this is what we are offering,” she said.
