Double parking at flats poses risk

WHEN a small fire broke out recently at the Sri Tanjung flats in USJ 16, Subang Jaya, the fire engine could not pass through because of cars double-parked along the roads.

“Our fire engines need a space of six metres to manoeuvre. When cars are double-parked, we have no way to get into the area,” said Subang Jaya SS17 fire station officer Azman Md Zin.
