Young opera singers belt out the high notes

WITH only the tinkling of the piano as accompaniment to their voices, a group of 14 young talented opera singers and an opera enthusiast serenaded the audience during the Pro Musica — Mini Concert.

Prior to the concert, the singers, aged between 18 and 22, from Thailand, Indonesia and other parts of Malaysia together with the 40-year-old female enthusiast were taught by opera masters the methods on how to improve their performance during a five-day intensive workshop recently.
