AT least 11 dead green turtles were found washed ashore in Terengganu in the first two months this year.
World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Malaysia executive director and chief executive officer Datuk Dr Dionysius Sharma said the state Fisheries Department and the public reported that the carcasses of 11 green turtles were found ashore on the beaches of Marang, Dungun, Kemaman, Kuala Terengganu and Setiu.
