KUCHING: The Sarawak Tourism Board is lobbying for more funds, saying that the RM30mil allocated for the 10th Malaysia Plan which expires in 2015 is hardly adequate.
Its chief executive Datuk Rashid Khan said the average RM6mil yearly funding was hampering the statutory body’s advertising and promotion efforts, especially overseas.
