GIANT Hypermarket, which had been sponsoring meals for the homeless every Saturday at Kechara Soup Kitchen, hosted a special mid-week meal for more than 150 guests at Kechara’s kitchen in Jalan Imbi recently.
Giant donated RM5,000 worth of raw ingredients, including rice and vegetables, for the meal. In addition, each guest received a bagful of daily necessities.
