The appointment of Petaling Jaya City Council’s (MBPJ) planning and development director Noraini Roslan as the new president for Kuala Selangor District Council (MDKS) has been welcomed by people in both the private and government sector.
They lauded the move has it broke the norms, in the sense that she would be the state’s first women council president and the first technical staff to be promoted to the position.
