Charity walk

JOIN the All Women’s Action Society’s (AWAM) 6th Annual Charity Walk Treasure Hunt to be held on Nov 28 from 8am to 3pm at the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall. The family-friendly event is open to anyone above 10 years old and entre fee is RM200 per team (maximum four people). There will be RM10,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs and participants will get a chance to meet celebrities like Daphne Iking. Development programme

THE Shah Alam City Hall will be having a “Young Khalifah Motivation” programme from Nov 29 to Dec 3 at Kompleks Taman Seni Islam, Section 10, Shah Alam. The programme focuses on personal development from an Islamic perspective. Participants will be exposed to techniques on effective learning, time management, discipline and prayer knowledge. Blood donation

THE National Blood Centre will be having setting up its mobile donation unit today at Level 8, KL-Kepong Oleomas Sdn Bhd from 10am to 4pm. Tomorrow, the units will be at the Training Room, Glenmarie and Country Club (10am - 4pm), lobby, Texchem Pack Bandar Baru Bangi (9am - 3pm) as well as Anjung B and C, Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan and lobbies of Masjid Sultan Salahuddin Shah Alam and Masjid Jamek Kampung Baru (11am - 3pm).

Guitar concert

THE Embassy of Brazil is organising a Brazilian Guitar Concert by Celso Machado on Nov 22 and 23 at KLPAC.
