ALMOST 80% of the 22 vegetarian food corners in Seberang Prai that have been set up in conjunction with the Nine Emperor Gods festival are using non-polystyrene food packaging.
State Local Government and Traffic Management Committee chairman Chow Kon Yeow said he was impressed with the hawkers’ initiative in using biodegradable packaging to serve food.
