A popular Penang dragon boat team is appealing for a chance to take part in the dragon boat racing event during the Guangzhou Asian Games in November.
Despite picking up golds in two out of three categories in the dragon boat selection race, the outlook looks slim for Pacific West Dragon Boat Club as there is no national foundation for dragon boat racing.
