Group to hold seminar on migrant and human-trafficking issues


THE Sarawak Women for Women Society (SWWS) is concerned over the trafficking of foreign and local women for the vice trade.

Its president Margaret Bedus said there were foreign women who had been lured to Sarawak with the promise of legitimate employment as shop assistants or maids but were forced into prostitution upon their arrival.
