Help on the way for nine

THE Implementation and Coordination Unit (ICU) of the Prime Minister’s Department will be looking into the living conditions of nine hardcore poor households in Batu Maung, Penang.

Bayan Baru Barisan Nasional coordinator David Yim said he informed the ICU that the houses of these families were badly in need of repair, and the unit said in a letter dated July 13 that it would send an officer to assess the situation.
