Suffice to say, suave British spy James Bond will feel right at home at 1 Utama this May. With much panache, the shopping centre is debuting its glamorous annual Fashion Week Fashion On 1 2010 in the midst of martini cocktails, posh cars and beautiful people. Aptly themed License To Style, the event is a grand combination of fashion forces coming together to showcase a week of fashion shows until tomorrow and month-long retail promotions (until May 30) available exclusively from 1 Utama’s fashion and accessory stores. The 007 action takes place at the Main Stage, Lower Ground Floor Oval concourse. A visual statement on its own, the stage is styled in a sleek chrome look. Mirror balls and a swirling backdrop add to the fashion pizzazz. Reflective of the theme, svelte models are turned into Bond girls and secret agents as they emerge from a James Bond opening scene to strut the runway in the season’s latest collections. The models’ stunning looks are carefully put together by official makeup partner Rimmel and official hair stylist Organic Hair Professional.
