VACANT government land, irrespective whether they belonged to the federal or state government, should be leased out to farmers rather than leaving them idle.
In making the call yesterday, Perak MCA vice chairman Datuk Ho Cheng Wang said there were instances where such land were left unkempt, had become jungles while some were being used productively by far mers without the knowledge of both governments.
