Immigration DG: Bangladeshi in Al Jazeera documentary to be deported


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Bangladeshi Md Rayhan Kabir who appeared in the controversial Al Jazeera documentary will be deported and blacklisted to prevent him from returning to Malaysia, says Immigration director-general Datuk Khairul Dzaimee Daud (pic).

"I congratulate all the officers involved for their effort and commitment (leading to Md Rayhan’s arrest), ” he said in a statement issued on Saturday (July 25), adding that Md Rayhan was arrested on Friday (July 24) following two weeks of intelligence work.
