Laos launches new project to upgrade facilities at tourist hotspot


VIENTIANE: Laos has launched a new project to improve infrastructure and facilities in Champassak province to support sustainable tourism, after reaching an agreement with a construction company.

The new initiative, known as ‘Improvement of infrastructure and facilities related to tourism project at Khong district, Champassak province, Laos’ is being implemented on the popular Don Det and Don Khone islands in the Mekong riverine archipelago known as the 4,000 Islands.
