Illegal operators are believed to have dumped burnt waste into Sungai Kayu Ara.

I WAS recently told by a friend that when he opens his front door in the morning, there is usually an acrid smell in the air.

I remember telling him it could be the seasonal haze. He replied that very often he sees open burning in various spots outside the perimeter of his gated and guarded neighbourhood in Ara Idaman Damansara, Petaling Jaya.
