MIRI: The much anticipated amendments to Article 1 (2) of the Federal Constitution to restore the rights of Sarawak and Sabah as equal partners in Malaysia did not materialise.
Pakatan Harapan only secured 138 votes out of the 222 parliamentary seats in the Dewan Rakyat, with the MPs of Sarawak and Sabah and Barisan Nasional in the peninsula abstaining from voting.
