Authorities should consider closing Jalan TAR only on weekends

I REFER to the proposal to keep Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman (TAR) perpetually closed to vehicles.

In fact, Jalan TAR is busy with shoppers mostly during the weekends and holidays, so it is not practical to close that road during weekdays as it can cause havoc to traffic using the road to get to certain sections of the town and to Lake Gardens.
