Drop bad practices for better future


The relevant authorities must take immediate action to stop the packing of hot drinks in plastic bags as many Malaysians are ignorant of its harmful effects.

SOME months ago, the Selangor government was considering the possibility of implementing a state-wide ban on the use of plastic bags, polystyrene and other non-­biodegradable materials.

This is a laudable move to create a safe and secure society in the face of mounting problems as a result of using such products.
