Are we better off?

I AM writing this article from Limbang. I am here to meet up with the Sarawak Bank Employees Union members as part of a statewide roadshow to get a mandate from members to execute a new Collective Agreement with the commercial banks in Sarawak.

The last time I was in this part of the world was 15 years ago. Apart from the new airport, I don’t see many changes. I am staying at the same tired-looking hotel that has seen better days.
