IF you have never been a reporter in this part of the world, then you will never know how much time we waste waiting for people to arrive and for things to start.

My senior colleague, Jack Wong, once told me that being a reporter means, “you are paid to wait”. I am constantly on the road, being stuck in traffic jams, sitting around for events to start, and sometimes, waiting for events that never happen.
