New credit card tailored for businessmen

ALLIANCE Bank (M) Bhd has launched its first Visa Infinite card.

“The Alliance Bank Visa Infinite Business Credit Card is a prestigious card designed to reflect the financial success of business owners and meet their business lifestyle.

“The card offers business sensibility, which addresses the needs of enterprises, with enhanced rewards and protection, as well as the finest luxury experience for the deserving executive,” said Alliance Bank executive vice-president Victor Khor, who is also Group Transaction and SME Banking head.

Khor said the Visa Infinite Business Credit Card had attractive main features, which support businesses with greater savings and enhanced rewards.

The business card has Visa payWave capability, enabling cardholders to make purchases by waving their cards at any contactless terminals across more than 50 countries globally.

“Alliance Bank has also partnered with Visa to support its collaboration with, a global hotel booking platform which rewards frequent travellers with airline miles or credit card points.

“With this card, cardholders can enjoy using the Kaligo Business Plus hotel booking solution which is tailored in such a way that frequent travellers can choose which frequent flyer programme they wish to earn miles for their bookings,” he said.

Khor noted that the card allowed business travellers to travel, spend and have the convenience of using the hassle-free TaxBack International to reclaim their VAT online.

“In addition, business owners can also extend the same prestige and privileges to their employees for their business travel and spending.

“Moreover, frequent business travellers can enjoy the complimentary Priority Pass Membership with access to over 850 airport lounges globally.

“Card members also get to enjoy the complimentary insurance protection plan: travel accident insurance for overseas medical expenses, and travel inconvenience insurance of up to RM5, 000,” he added.

“Businesses can also have more control in place by using this card as it allows them to customise their employees’ credit limits based on their travel policies,” said Visa country manager for Malaysia, Ng Kong Boon.

Depending on the business need, companies can set up a unique spending limit for each employee. A consolidated statement which categorises purchases based on types of spending is also available.

A corporate liability waiver of up to RM75, 000 per cardholder, also protects companies.

In addition, their purchases are protected with the Purchase Protection Plan of up to RM30,000 per event.

The Alliance Bank Visa Infinite Business Credit Card also helps to turn business spending into more rewards with up to 1.5% cash-back or up to 2x Timeless Bonus Points on overseas retails purchases.

As the first Visa Infinite Business Credit Card in South-East Asia, it rewards businesses with 0% interest instalment payment for three months on overseas purchases, and up to 56 days of interest-free period.
