Will the owner of a bluish-grey pouch please stand up?

A bluish-grey pouch was found unattended at the venue of the After Work Fest of Star Media Group Berhad last weekend, and has been surrendered to The Star Penang's newsdesk.

Our journalists decided to open it with full integrity on Monday (July 28) in hopes of finding a phone number or e-mail address to contact the owner, but to no avail.

However, we found a driving licence issued by the United Kingdom to a woman with an address in Teddington, London.

There is also a Novoo smart card item locator inside.

No valuables were found in the pouch besides loose change.

We ask that any woman from Teddington who is visiting Penang and has lost something contact the newsdesk at north@thestar.com.my, or just visit The Star @ Pitt St in Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling in the heritage enclave.

Do bring your identification papers. For security reasons, we cannot accept a representative claimant.

If no one comes forward by the end of the week, the pouch will be handed to the police.
