SUVs, MPVs and booking rewards among autoshow highlights
GWM Malaysia is bringing an exciting line-up of vehicles, attractive deals and exclusive rewards to StarCarSifu Auto Show 2026, held at Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur, from Aug 12-16.
Visitors can get a closer look at some of the brand’s latest electrified offerings, including the GWM ORA 5 HEV, GWM TANK 300 HEV, GWM HAVAL H6 HEV (hybrid electric vehicle), alongside the GWM WEY G9 Hi4 PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle).
Those keen to experience the vehicles on the road can also get behind the wheel of selected models, including the GWM WEY G9 Hi4 PHEV and GWM TANK 500 HEV.
Visitors who take a test drive will receive a GWM towel, while those who make a vehicle booking at the show can take home a GWM tumbler.
Among the highlights is an exclusive look at the soon-to-be-launched GWM ORA 5 HEV, a compact urban crossover designed for connected, style-conscious and efficient city mobility.
Powered by GWM’s Hi2 hybrid technology, it offers a driving range of more than 1,100km, making it well suited for both everyday commutes and longer journeys.
For those looking for something more adventure-ready, the GWM TANK 300 HEV, priced at RM259,800, combines off-road capability with an electrified powertrain designed to deliver smoother, quieter and more responsive performance.
The GWM HAVAL H6 HEV, meanwhile, offers a practical option for families seeking an electrified C-segment sports utility vehicle.
Priced at RM139,800, it can travel up to 1,000km on a full 61-litre petrol tank.
Those after more space and luxury can explore the seven-seater GWM TANK 500 HEV, priced at RM328,800.
Its Intelligent All-Terrain System features 11 selectable driving modes to suit a variety of road and terrain conditions.
Also on display is the GWM WEY G9 Hi4 PHEV, a premium MPV priced at RM269,800, offering a spacious three-row layout and a host of comfort and convenience features.
Adding to the excitement, GWM Malaysia is celebrating Merdeka and Hari Malaysia with a nationwide customer campaign running from Aug 1 to Sept 30.
Customers who place a booking during the campaign period and register their vehicle by Sept 30 will qualify for the grand lucky draw, which offers prizes valued at up to RM180,000 in total.
Six customers will also have the opportunity to receive toll cashback of up to RM1,000 each.
Throughout August, customers can also enjoy limited-time savings of up to RM30,000 on selected GWM models, while every new GWM vehicle purchased comes with five years of free service maintenance.
Additionally, all new GWM vehicles registered from Aug 1, 2026 will be equipped with a pre-installed or bundled Touch n Go x GWM branded RFID tag as standard.
The toll cashback promotion and complimentary RFID tag are applicable to eligible vehicle registrations in Peninsular Malaysia only.
There is more happening at the show beyond the cars, with visitors able to enjoy complimentary coffee and other activities at the GWM booth.
Those who book a vehicle during the show will also stand a chance to win up to RM5,000 in Touch ’n Go eWallet credits under the StarCarSifu Auto Show Book & Win campaign.
