THE Toyota Malaysia Pickle Tour 2026 is gearing up to become one of the country’s most expansive pickleball events, rolling across Sarawak, Sabah, Johor, Penang and the Klang Valley.

Organised by UMW Toyota Motor, the five‑stop series carries a RM175,000 prize pool and aims to bring Malaysians one of the nation’s fastest‑rising lifestyle sports.

With “Solo Entry. Team Glory.” as its rallying call, the tour introduces a distinctive team‑based format where players register individually but compete as part of organiser‑assigned teams.

The concept turns personal entry into collective momentum, mirroring Toyota’s aspiration of “producing happiness for all through sport, connection and shared enjoyment.”

“‘Mobility for All’ is about widening access to experiences that move people forward – physically, socially and emotionally,” said UMW Toyota Motor president Datuk K. Ravindran.

“The Toyota Malaysia Pickle Tour 2026 gives this belief a strong community expression, with a five‑stop footprint that reaches players and families across Malaysia.

“By taking pickleball beyond a single centre of activity, we hope to open the court to more Malaysians and create an experience built on confidence, team spirit and the shared happiness of playing together,” Toyota said in a media statement.

As pickleball continues to build momentum nationwide, the tour offers players, families and communities a platform to engage with a sport known for its energy, social appeal and easy‑to‑follow format.

It also provides a more casual, people‑centred way for Malaysians to connect with Toyota through active lifestyles, friendly competition and community participation.

The tour is open to Malaysians aged seven and above.

Beyond competition, open‑play sessions and pickleball clinics will be available for newcomers and those keen to experience the sport in a relaxed setting, giving families multiple ways to get involved.

Cash prizes and medals will be awarded to the top 10 finishers at each location.

The public are encouraged to register early as slots are limited.
