To celebrate the hotel’s 10th anniversary, Astor Bar at The St Regis Kuala Lumpur has unveiled its “A Decade Distilled” menu, a refined retrospective of the establishment’s most memorable pours from the past 10 years.

Each drink has been reimagined to reflect a specific era in the bar’s evolution, starting with a nod to global brand heritage.

The menu features the Red Snapper, a classic Bloody Mary variant perfected by Fernand Petiot in 1934 at the King Cole Bar in The St Regis New York.

The selection revisits hits like the Jade Dragon, a luxurious 2024 Chinese New Year creation that blends the richness of Macallan 12 Year Old Double Cask with the brightness of pineapple and cucumber, served alongside a side of caviar and crème fraîche.

For fans of the classics, the Whiskey Sour Remastered introduces an oleo saccharum (citrus oil sugar syrup) to add depth to its bright, sweet profile.

Pop culture figures also feature prominently here.

The Michelle pays tribute to Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh in celebration of her historic Oscar win, blending gin, vodka, Bianco Vermouth and Angostura bitters with a lemon twist.

Another eponymous cocktail, The Astrid, takes inspiration from the Crazy Rich Asians character portrayed by actress Gemma Chan.

The beverage combines tequila, pomegranate juice, elderflower liqueur, Angostura Bitters and lemon oil.

Other favourites here are The Violet Hour Martini, Negroni Remastered and Margarita Remastered.

The bar also features “Ten Expressions of the Bloody Mary,” showcasing variations from St Regis properties worldwide.

Standouts are Great Wall Mary from The St Regis Beijing and Shogun Mary from The St Regis Osaka.

Cocktails from both menus are available until Oct 31, priced at RM50 each.
