AMAN Central in Alor Setar has unveiled its “Arabesque Luxe Raya” festive installation, transforming its central atrium into a celebration of Islamic artistry in conjunction with Hari Raya.

The installation, on display until March 29, blends traditional Arabesque motifs with contemporary design elements to reflect Islamic heritage and festive unity.

At the centre of the display is a pavilion inspired by classical Islamic arches and geometric patterns.

The structure is elevated on a mosaic platform accented in royal blue and gold.

Intricately designed arches frame the pavilion, while floral arrangements in crimson, magenta and royal purple, along with palm trees, create the atmosphere of a Middle Eastern courtyard.

Draped chandeliers suspended above the concourse add to the luminous setting.

Aman Central marketing communication assistant general manager Ken Chin said the concept was designed to create a festive experience that resonated with the community while celebrating cultural artistry.

“This year, we wanted to elevate the Hari Raya ambiance with a refined Arabesque concept that celebrates the beauty of Islamic art while embracing modern luxury.

“Every element, from the grand arches and intricate motifs to the chandeliers and vibrant florals, has been curated to inspire warmth, unity and celebration,” he said.

Chin said the installation provided a welcoming environment for visitors to shop for Hari Raya essentials while spending time with family and friends.

The launch was officiated by Alor Setar mayor Datuk Abdul Gafar Yahya, Belleview Group managing director Datuk Seri Sonny Ho, Belleview Group directors Datin Seri Suryani Rusli and Grace Ho, as well as Aman Central leasing general manager Brian Ho.

Throughout the campaign period until March 29, the mall will host cultural performances, workshops and interactive events.

Promotions include the Arabesque Luxe TikTok Contest offering prizes worth up to RM3,000.

Twenty winners will receive prizes from Aman Central and event partner Bata Malaysia.

A Raya Quartz Sand Art Painting and Raya Cookie Decoration workshops will be held during the period.

Shoppers with qualifying purchases can also redeem exclusive kitchenware under the shopping mall’s redemption campaign, limited to one redemption per shopper while stocks last.

Those who spend a minimum of RM300 in two combined receipts may also redeem a Hari Raya sampul set at the information counter while stocks last.

Festive cultural performances will be staged throughout March, including Arabesque Rhythm Dance, Luxe Musical Performances, Senandung Luxe Raya, Arabic performances, Culture Rhythm showcases, Panggung Raya and Alunan Silat Raya.
