Notices issued, items seized in DBKL enforcement operations in KL Bukit Bintang

KUALA LUMPUR: Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has ramped up enforcement operations in the city, issuing multiple notices and seizing items belonging to unlicensed traders to ensure public areas remain orderly and safe.

The targeted operations focused on high-traffic commercial areas, including locations near Masjid India, in front of Sogo, Jalan Tun Perak, Jalan Melaka, Jalan Melayu, and Lorong Tuanku Abdul Rahman.

DBKL via its social media platforms stated four notices were issued under Hawker Licensing By-Laws, eight under the Road Traffic Act and four general notices, during the operation.

In addition to the notices, DBKL conducted a seizure against an unlicensed hawker operating in Lorong Tuanku Abdul Rahman, with the confiscated items being transported to the DBKL storage facility.

DBKL reported that throughout the operation, the situation in the affected areas remained good and well-controlled. Traffic flow was maintained smoothly and without any disruptions.
