Apple Vacations and Malaysia Airlines charter service is back to take travellers on adventures.
Convenience and comfort are the buzzwords as a travel agency’s charter flight service takes off for winter wonders and beyond.
Apple Vacations is partnering with Malaysia Airlines once again for its well-received winter charter flight tours for Malaysian tourists to Japan.
The classic White Hokkaido Love Story tour is entering its 14th consecutive year while the White Mysterious Tohoku tour is just into its third year.
The travel agency said its inaugural Hokkaido charter flight tour departed on Dec 10 with 287 passengers eager for a snow-filled vacation.
December sees four charter flights to Hokkaido and three to the Tohoku region, each with 287 passengers.
To date, the service has flown over 56,000 travellers to Hokkaido, Tohoku and China’s Urumqi, Apple Vacations said in a media statement.
With 13 years of charter flight tour experience, Apple Vacations said it was confident that direct flights would continue to popularise these destinations as must-visits among Malaysians.
On the White Hokkaido Love Story tour, travellers will experience Hokkaido’s unique winter landscapes.
Whether one is strolling down the canals of Otaru, climbing Mount Usu for a panoramic view of Lake Toya and Showa-shinzan, soaking in the hot springs of Noboribetsu or being immersed in the winter vibes of Odori Park – a filming location for Japanese drama series First Love – Hokkaido’s winter sights never fail to charm.
White Mysterious Tohoku presents different winter vibes.
Tourists can learn about and savour fresh oysters at a farm, admire Miyagi’s famous frozen trees from a snowmobile, ascend Mount Zao to encounter its stunning “snow monsters”, stroll down the romantic Taisho-era streets of Ginzan Onsen and cruise down the snow-lined waters of Geibikei while enjoying grilled scallops.
Winter in Tohoku is a serene, contemplative experience that stays with visitors long after they depart.
Besides Japan, Apple Vacations said it offered a comprehensive range of Asian winter itineraries such as Festive Korea, Wintery Korea, Snowy Northern Xinjiang and Magical Dongbei Snow Village.
There are also northern lights and Arctic tours to Finland, Iceland and Norway.
For the spring season, the travel agency will be promoting itineraries such as Charm of Tohoku, Hokkaido Love Story in Spring and Focus Japan.
This is in addition to trips to Yunnan, Sichuan, South Korea, western Europe, Turkiye and Pakistan to enjoy the season’s floral charms.
