Fun and prizes await at KL mall’s fifth anniversary celebration

KL East Mall is marking its fifth anniversary with a celebration that includes fun family activities and rewards for shoppers like free flight tickets to Taiwan.

IN JUST five years, Sime Darby Property’s KL East Mall has grown into a lively hub for shopping, dining and leisure.

To mark its anniversary, the mall would be holding activities, rewards and more until Jan 3 to thank everyone for its success.

Enjoying full occupancy with 180 tenants, it welcomes nearly a million visitors every month.

It has become the go-to destination for KL East, Taman Melati, Taman Melawati, Ampang and Titiwangsa residents which number over 500,000.

The Main Atrium, featuring a giant three-tier cake and creative displays by brands such as Jaya Grocer, Camp5, Decathlon, Bayu Somerset and Montigo, had set the tone for the celebration called Epic 5.

Shoppers will enjoy various rewards such as a BRYKS blind box and tenant vouchers for a minimum spend of RM400 in a single receipt or spend over RM800 in a single transaction for an exclusive Sometime tote bag.

The Epic Spend and Win contest will be extended to Jan 3 where every RM500 spent in a single receipt would earn a lucky draw ticket.

There are weekly prizes with 10 second prizes of premium tech, lifestyle devices and gold treats, and two grand prizes of a pair of return flights to Taipei including RM10,000 in KL East Mall shopping vouchers.

There are also interactive weekend activities for children and adults such as sand art painting, face painting and a DIY phone charm workshop.

Shoppers can also dine at top restaurants like A’Decade, Cafe Chef Wan, Dolly Dim Sum, Galah Gala Seafood Restaurant, Kenny Hills Bakers, Serai, K Fry Urban Korean, Ole-Ole Bali or Sukiya.
