Event pays tribute to developers, architects, planners, industry professionals whose properties set new benchmarks in M’sia

REAL estate industry excellence, innovation and sustainability were celebrated in style at the Malaysia Property Award gala dinner.

Organised by International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI)-Malaysia, the event paid tribute to the developers, architects, planners and industry professionals whose projects have set new benchmarks for the country’s property landscape.

FIABCI-Malaysia president Dr Yu Kee Su said the winners embodied the values of innovation, sustainability and community well-being.

“Your success has set high standards for creativity and transformation in Malaysia’s real estate sector,” he said during the gala dinner in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

“As we enter the 13th Malaysia Plan, your work aligns with the nation’s bold aspirations to accelerate sustainable urban development, promote inclusive growth and advance green technology adoption.”

Yu said the property industry played a role in shaping a safe, inclusive and thriving built environment, specifically one that nurtured physical, social and emotional well-being.

“Beyond bricks and mortar, we are building communities that foster positive values, safety and well-being for future generations,” he said.

The event was graced by Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Melaka Tun Dr Mohd Ali Mohd Rustam and his wife Toh Puan Asmah Ab Rahman.

Organising chairman Chia Tee said that since its inception, the Malaysia Property Award had served as a platform to recognise and celebrate excellence, highlighting those that have gone above and beyond in creating developments that not only redefined our skyline but also uplifted communities and improved quality of life.

He said the judging process was rigorous and transparent, involving professionals who evaluated submissions across multiple criteria, from design excellence and sustainability to innovation, safety and social contribution.

“Behind every winning project lies a story of vision, perseverance and collaboration, stories that deserve to be told and remembered,” he said.

“To our esteemed winners, your achievements are an inspiration.

“You have shown that true success lies not in profit but in purpose; not only in architecture but in vision; not only in construction but in creating legacies.”

Chin Hin Property Development group CEO Chang Tze Yoong said 8th & Stellar offered a blend of a commercial hub and comfort of home.

“The project represents what we see a modern city living should be – well connected, practical and inspiring.

“Even small details, such as a covered walkway that directly links to a train station, show our commitment to convenience and thoughtful design.”

Gaya Kuasa Sdn Bhd director Wie Hock Kiong said the Residensi Aman Bukit Jalil project validated the company’s philosophy of comfort and sustainable living for everyone.

Mah Sing Group Bhd chief operating officer Chris Chen said the M Oscar project was a testament to the group’s commitment towards continuous improvement.

“We go beyond the ordinary, delivering long-term sustainability with value, not just short-term success.”
