THE Naza Automotive Group is expanding its presence at Subang Skypark, also known as Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, with the launch of its new SkyLounge Xpress, a dedicated transit space.
The new facility, located at the airport’s domestic departure area, is aimed to offer greater accessibility and convenience and serving as a comfortable lounge for passengers before they board their flight.
It operates daily from 5.30am to 9pm.
Naza Automotive Group chief executive officer Mohd Rizal Jailan said the launch was a significant milestone for the group, underscoring its commitment to hospitality excellence beyond the automotive sector.
“This idea was born in 2013 with our first lounge here, then known as Peugeot Lounge.
“It was a simple idea: to create a comfortable, premium space with true Malaysian hospitality,” Mohd Rizal said during the launch.
Also present at the launch were Naza Corporation Holdings executive directors Nur Nadia SM Nasimuddin and Nur Diana SM Nasimuddin, representatives from Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd, WCT Holdings Bhd and Subang Skypark Sdn Bhd.
Spanning approximately 2,225sq ft with a capacity for 80 passengers, the new lounge offers complimentary refreshments, high-speed Wi-Fi, charging points and comfortable work areas in a tranquil, well-appointed space.
SkyLounge Xpress welcomes walk-in guests at RM130 per person and offers annual membership at RM500.
SkyLounge Xpress is developed and operated by Eight Valuations Sdn Bhd, the official insurance agency for all Naza Group subsidiaries.
The initiative also supported Subang Skypark’s development vision under the Subang Airport Regeneration Plan.
As for the original lounge, it was rebranded as SkyLounge by Naza in 2015 and expanded its collaborations to include airlines like Firefly and global partners like Priority Pass and Dragon Pass.
