MBSJ trims risky trees citywide

MBSJ is carrying out maintenance work on trees identified as risky or dangerous.

SUBANG Jaya City Council (MBSJ) has been carrying out maintenance work on trees identified as risky or dangerous in various locations over a four-month period since August.

“This initiative is part of the city council’s ongoing efforts to reduce the risk of tree falling and to protect the safety of residents and motorists,” MBSJ Corporate and Strategic Management Department said in a statement.

“This maintenance work involves pruning tree branches, assessing tree structures and felling trees identified as high-risk.

“The city council will continue to monitor on-site work and traffic flow in the affected areas throughout this period.”

Motorists are advised to exercise caution when passing through the affected areas.

Any issues or complaints can be reported through the Public Complaint Management System (Sispaa) or MBSJ call centre at 03-8024 7700.
