South-East Asia’s largest integrated car e-commerce platform and homegrown brand CarSome joined the National Day parade in Putrajaya, marching for the first time alongside national football and motorsport heroes.

The celebration carried added meaning as it also marked CarSome’s 10th anniversary.

The convoy included CarSome pickup trucks with company co-founders Eric Cheng and Teoh Jiun Ee, alongside Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) vice-president Datuk Dollah Salleh and executive committee member Datuk Zainal Abidin Hassan, and motorsport legends Karamjit Singh, YS Khong and professional race driver Leona Chin.

Cheng said, “Merdeka is about independence, resilience, unity and passion.

“Joining the parade alongside our sporting heroes and colleagues reminds us that progress is a collective effort.

“It is through unity and shared purpose that we have built our journey, and with the same belief, we will continue to place our customers first, keeping Malaysians at the forefront of our local business.”

CarSome also handed over RM500,000 worth of vouchers for vehicle services, road tax renewals, and battery replacements to the organisers to be shared with attendees.
