THE Malaysia Gifts Fair 2025 officially opened yesterday at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur marking its 15th anniversary with a bold new vision for the future.
Organised by the Malaysian Gifts and Premium Association (MGPA), the event welcomed over 16,000 visitors, reaffirming its status as the largest and most influential gifts and premium industry event in Malaysia and the Asean region.
It was officially recognised by the Asean Records for being the Largest Gifts and Premium Trade Fair in Asean.
The fair covered 58,110sq ft, featuring 301 booths and showcasing 22 product categories within the business gifting industry.
Held under the theme “Sustainable Innovation, Gifts for Tomorrow,” the fair reflected the industry’s growing commitment to environmental responsibility by embracing environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles.
This year’s fair featured more than 300 booths and showcased over 50,000 unique and innovative gifting ideas, ranging from eco-friendly merchandise and sustainable packaging to customised corporate gifts and contemporary lifestyle products.
In conjunction with the fair, two key industry milestones will take place: the official launch of the Asean Gifts and Crafts Federation (AGCF) and the signing ceremony of the AGCF Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
These initiatives highlight the fair’s expanding role as a unifying platform for the regional gifts and crafts community, fostering greater collaboration, connectivity, and industry development across Asean.
“Over the past 15 years, the Malaysia Gifts Fair has evolved from a local exhibition into Asean’s premier platform for the gifts and premium market,” said MGPA president Ivan Loo during the opening ceremony.
“This year, we proudly take it a step further by leading the industry toward a sustainable and responsible future.”
Organising chairman Alex Chai added, “The Malaysia Gifts Fair 2025 is more than just an event – it’s a movement.
“We’re proud to create a platform where businesses can showcase their commitment to sustainable innovation and drive meaningful change across the industry.”
Following the success of nearly 14,000 visitors last year, the 2025 edition aims to surpass 16,000 attendees, drawing top corporate buyers, industry leaders and key decision-makers from Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, India, Bangladesh and beyond.
With a broadened international presence and a sharp focus on eco-conscious solutions, the Malaysia Gifts Fair continues to position Malaysia as Asean’s central hub for the gifts and premium industry.
Looking ahead, MGPA also announced plans for an even bigger 16th edition next year, aiming to expand capacity to up to 400 booths, creating greater opportunities for innovation and industry growth.
The Malaysia Gifts Fair 2025 sets a new benchmark for the industry – where innovation meets responsibility and every gift carries the promise of a sustainable future.
