Three new lanes open at Rawang Selatan Toll Plaza

The additional lanes will improve traffic flow at the plaza, especially for motorists heading towards Gamuda Gardens and Kundang.

PLUS Malaysia Bhd (PLUS) has opened three additional lanes at the Rawang Selatan Toll Plaza (Exit 115).

The new lanes are aimed at improving traffic flow at the plaza, especially for motorists heading towards Gamuda Gardens and Kundang.

As the plaza handles up to 29,000 vehicles daily, the added lane capacity is projected to disperse existing peak-hour traffic by 14% to 19%.

Positive impacts are predicted for Gamuda Gardens residents and those of surrounding areas such as Rawang, Kundang and Sungai Buloh.

Regular users of the North-South Highway are also expected to benefit.

This initiative was made possible through Works Ministry, Malaysia Highway Authority, the Public Works Department, PLUS and Gamuda Bhd.

PLUS has also restated its commitment to improving its infrastructure and services in line with its corporate values emphasising comfort, safety and sustainability for communities along its highway network.
