Recycling centre fires up by 125%

THE number of fires at recycling factories nationwide has doubled, said Fire and Rescue Department director-general Datuk Nor Hisham Mohammad.

He said there were only about 12 such cases in 2022, but this figure had shot up to 27 last year, which is concerning.
