Flood mitigation plan for Skudai


Mohd Jafni (wearing cap) says immediate riverbed cleaning operations will be carried out to prevent future flooding along flood-prone areas such as Jalan Zapin in Skudai, Johor.

JOHOR government has outlined a plan to implement immediate and long-term measures to tackle recurring floods in Skudai.

State housing and local government committee chairman Datuk Mohd Jafni Md Shukor said he chaired a meeting with Iskandar Puteri mayor Ahmad Nazir Mohd Nasir to discuss the matter as Skudai was under its jurisdiction.
