FOR years, Pong Ah Hee endured long waits at the general hospital pharmacy each month to collect her medication for diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol.

Without a car, the 87-year-old relied on public transportation to get to Hospital Sultanah Aminah (HSA) in Johor Baru, making each trip both time- consuming and costly.
