Knights of Sacred Heart School Old Students Association (Shosa) will gather for its reunion on April 5 in Sibu, Sarawak.

Organising chairman Wong Ing Ang said, “As this is not a quinquennial celebration year for our alma mater, the event will be more casual for former students to get together and catch up.”

The next major Shosa celebration is in 2027 when the school celebrates its 125th anniversary.

The annual general meeting (AGM) will kick things off at 6.30pm, with dinner starting at 7pm.

Wong, who is from Class of 1990, said, “When I informed Shosa leadership that this year would be my batch’s 35th anniversary after completing Form 5, they immediately offered us the leading role in organising the celebrations.

“The Class of 1990 will also be making a financial donation to our alma mater as a token of our gratitude.

“We went into this school as boys and when we left in 1990, we were on our way to becoming men.”

Shosa secretary Ignatius Lau said the reunion dinner would be a golden opportunity for alumni to reconnect, reminisce and reignite the camaraderie that defined their formative years.
