Symphony of Malaysian, Middle Eastern flavours feature on Ramadan spread


The ‘Citra Selera Timur dan Barat’ buffet will be served across three venues within Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur.

Guests can experience a blend of east and west flavours with the “Citra Selera Timur dan Barat”, a buffet by a hotel in the heart of the city.

This culinary journey at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur promises a symphony of flavours, celebrating the rich traditions of Malaysia while incorporating the bold and aromatic influences of the Middle East.

The hotel’s ballroom will be transformed into a vibrant “marketplace”, inspired by the bustling souks of Arabia and the cultural heritage of Malaysia.

Guests will be transported through a world of taste as they explore stalls laden with exquisite dishes, from spice-infused meats to aromatic briyani and vibrant Malaysian classics that evoke both the comfort of home and excitement of faraway lands.

The buffet will be served until March 30 at Mosaic, Lounge On The Park and Diamond Ballroom.

From now until March 16, the dinner buffet dinner is priced at RM308nett per adult and RM188nett per child aged six to 11. From March 17 to 30, it is priced at RM328nett per adult and RM196nett per child aged six to 11.
