THE country’s premier travel event organised by Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) is back.

Johor MATTA Fair 2025 will be held from Feb 21 to 23 at Austin International Convention Centre, Johor Baru.

The upcoming fair will showcase a wide and comprehensive choice of travel and holiday products from all over the world.

Visitors and consumers can find very attractive bargains and great value for money in travel products and services.

During the three-day fair, travellers will find deals on all types of international and domestic packages, including cruise and umrah packages as well as discounted airline tickets.

MATTA urged consumers to be wary of online fraud and to purchase tour packages through travel agents licensed by Tourism and Art Culture Ministry (Motac).

This year, Tourism Johor, Tourism Malaysia Southern Region and the Consulate-General of the Republic of Indonesia are among the exhibitors occupying the fair’s 145 booths.

In addition to free admission to the fair, buyers will be entitled to participate in a lucky draw.

Every purchase of RM500 in a single receipt for domestic packages and RM1,000 for international packages at MATTA Fair will earn buyers a chance in the lucky draw.

Prizes worth RM120,000 are up for grabs, including many airline tickets to various destinations, five-star hotel accommodations and travel vouchers.

A car will be given away as the grand prize.
