Sibu welcomes return of iconic Sg Merah market

THE new Sungai Merah market in Sibu, Sarawak, is expected reopen its doors next month.

The two-storey market costing RM8.5mil was built on the same site of the previous seven-decade-old premises that was demolished at end of 2022.
