A STRETCH of 400m between Scotland Road and Jalan Air Itam near SMK Agama Al-Mashoor in Penang has been named Jalan S. A. Abdullah Bukhari.

Born on June 29, 1933, in Chulia Street, the late Datuk Syeikh Maulana Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al-Bukhari Al-Masyuri gave lectures in multiple languages, including Malay, Tamil and Arabic.
